Vision boards are one of the best ways to get what you want in life. Whether you want to lose weight, buy your dream house, meet the person of your dreams, or advance in your career, there’s a vision board for that!

There are so many fun different themes you can use to create vision boards. Here are some ideas to get you started:

1 – Health Vision Board

If you are suffering from a chronic disease or some symptoms that you want to reduce or eliminate, a health vision board can help you accomplish it! For example, if you are constantly in pain as a result of fibromyalgia, you could include images of people engaging in physical activities with ease and joy.

You could include a photo of yourself from before you felt the pain. You might even include images of certain natural treatments that could help you.

2 – Weight Loss Vision Board

Similar to the health vision board, you can create a weight loss vision board to help you get to your ideal weight. If you have photos of when you were at your ideal weight, definitely include them. You can also include images of people and celebrities who have the body you are striving for.

You might add images of healthy foods and people engaging in exercise to help inspire you. Consider adding words that explain how you will feel when you reach your weight loss goal, such as sexy, confident, and proud.

3 – Family Vision Board

If you are having certain struggles in your family life (maybe you’re fighting with your teenage kids or all of you seem to be going in a different direction with no time to spend together), you can make a family vision board to help you create the family life you desire. It could include images of families playing games together, laughing, hugging, etc.

4 – Success Vision Board

A success vision board can help you accomplish a career goal or it could just depict something that defines your definition of success. Let’s use an example of success as financial freedom. In that case, you might include photos of your dream house, bundles of money, and your family happy and having a lot of time to spend together.

If success to you means that you are CEO of a large corporation, you could include images that reflect how it would make you feel, such as respected, authority figure, and wealthy.

5 – Money Vision Board

If you are struggling financially, a money vision board can come to the rescue! You can add images that show what you would do with your money if you had the money you desire. It might include pictures of things you would buy, charities you would donate to, and the happiness you would feel by not having to stress about money.

You might include people who’ve “made it” and things you would get to do and have when you have the same level of wealth.

6 – Couples Vision Board

A couples vision board can help you improve your romantic relationship. If your love life is on the rocks, visualizing what you want your relationship to be like can help transform it. If you are happy with your relationship, but you want to reach a new level of happiness, you can use a vision board to help with that as well.

Maybe you want more romance in your life? In that case, you could include images of a candlelit dinner, flowers, and a knight in shining armor. If you want to improve the communication in your relationship, you could include images of couples having intimate conversations and working together for shared goals.

You could also include a photo of you and your mate when you were at your happiest.

7 – Love Attraction Vision Board

If you want to find love, a vision board can help you find it. You can include photos of celebrities that have the qualities you are looking for in a mate. You can add words that depict character traits as well, such as kind, loving, confident, strong, or funny.

Include a photo of yourself on this board so that you can visualize yourself together with the man or woman of your dreams.

8 – Spiritual Vision Board

If you feel your life is lacking spiritually, a vision board can be just the thing you need to get your spiritual juices flowing. You can include images of things that represent what spirituality means to you, whether that be angels, fairies, Jesus, Buddha, nature, or anything else that works for you.

You can include little prayers or words that strike a spiritual string inside of you. Maybe adding a photo of you meditating or praying will inspire you.

9 – Business Vision Board

Maybe you want to either start a business or improve a business you already own. A business vision board will get you on the right track. You can include words and images that demonstrate the kind of business you want to have. You might include an image of yourself so you can see yourself succeeding in that business.

If you want to work from home, include images of a person working at home. If you want to have a lot of employees working together in a fun environment, add a photo of a fun business meeting. If you want to be known as the go to company in your niche, you might include images that show your company as number one.

10 – Career Vision Board

If you are unhappy in your job, creating a career vision board can get you on your way to a career you will love. Include photos of what would make you happy in a career, such as helping others, having your own office, or working from home.

Take photos of yourself wearing the clothes you’d like to wear at work, and include those. Include a job title or images that show you doing the type of work you’d like to be doing.

11 – Life Vision Board

Sometimes we want more general changes in our lives, and that is when a life vision board can help. Here, you can include images of all the different things you want to change in your life.

Keep in mind, however, that this tends to be the least effective type of vision board because without getting specific and really digging into the details of what you want, your focus is dispersed and therefore the results can be diluted.

Choose the vision board theme you feel the most called to create at this point in your life and get going. Big changes are coming!
