Vitamin D is important for bone growth and calcium absorption. A deficiency can cause rickets (Softening of bones) in children and Osteoporosis among other health conditions.

On the other hand, too much UV exposure from the sun’s rays can cause aging and skin cancer depending on skin tone and other genetic factors.
